What do you think made you take the leap to sell your artwork?
I hoped that people would connect emotionally with my creations, so much so that they would want to look at them every day in their home.
What do you love most about this art form?
The flexibility!! You can put so many inclusions in resin and really bring your ideas to life!
What helps you work?
Listening to music and dancing! Mixing resin is so much more fun when you do it to a beat
What is your biggest challenge with this medium?
Trying to take my perfectionism out of the equation. It can be so difficult when pieces don’t turn out exactly how you imagined but I’ve learned to love the happy little accidents that may come when working with resin!
What is the best advice you can give a new artist?
Be unapologetically YOU! Create what makes you happy because the love you put into your art truly shines through.
What do you for fun besides art?
I love watching movies and going for walks around the city.
Who is your favorite artist?
My favorite artist is Jen Bartel. She is an American illustrator and comic artist. The beauty and detail she captures in her artwork is so inspiring
